French White Opaline Double Dish

Sale price$425.00

A rare and delicate French white opaline salt cellar or trinket dish, dating to the late 19th century. This elegant piece features twin oval opaline bowls set in an ornate gilt bronze frame adorned with grapevine motifs and a decorative handle. The center iridescent stone on each side resembles an opal but is not tested or confirmed. Resting on a creamy alabaster base, the piece embodies the refined opulence of the Belle Époque era. Perfect for serving salts, holding rings, or simply as a striking decorative accent.

Contition: Very good antique condition; minor patina throughout and flea bites on alabaster base. No major breaks or cracks. Opaline is all in tact.

Size: 5.5 x 4.75"

Disclosure: All items are vintage or antique and sold as-is. Keep in mind there items have been pre-loved and minor age appropriate wear and patina may be present. Any major disclosures will be noted in the description above.
