Antiques Landscape in French Frame
A salvaged oil on canvas 19th C. painting placed in an elegant antique French picture frame featuring a finely ribbed gilt surround crowned with a delicate laurel wreath and foliate crest. The neoclassical detailing and softly aged gilding are characteristic of the Louis XVI aesthetic, giving the piece a refined, distinctly French presence.
