Antique French L’Isle-Adam Landscape Painting

A beautifully atmospheric French landscape depicting L’Isle-Adam and the Coteau of Parmain, along the banks of the River Oise northwest of Paris. The tranquil scene captures the river, bridge, boats and hillside architecture in a muted, softly rendered palette characteristic of late 19th- to early 20th-century French landscape painting.

Signed “A. Daget” or "A. Daret" lower right and inscribed “L’Isle Adam — Coteau de Parmain” along the lower edge. Oil on artist board, with wonderfully timeworn surface and patina throughout.
