Antique French Green Opaline Glass Compote with Gilt Pedestal
An exquisite antique French decorative compote featuring a delicate green opaline glass bowl adorned with a beaded rim and resting upon an elaborately detailed gilt-bronze, hand chased pedestal.
The ornate mount showcases scrolling foliage, floral embellishments, and intricate openwork detailing, beautifully contrasting with the soft, luminous green glass. Its graceful silhouette and romantic ornamentation evoke the elegance of 19th-century French decorative arts.
A lovely piece for displaying treasured objects or styled on its own as a sculptural accent.
