Antique French Brass Clock Case Vitrine

An ornate French gilt brass clock case, beautifully cast with scrolling foliate details, decorative feet, and an engraved hinged back. The circular case retains its beveled glass front, while the original clock movement are no longer present.

A wonderfully decorative Napoleon III-era object equally charming displayed as found or creatively repurposed to use as a vitrine to hold artwork, jewels, or used as a shadowbox frame.
