Crafted from substantial deep cross-cut diamonds on the body, large alternating triangular/prismatic cuts around the lid sides, and a more architectural geometric pattern across the lid. The thickness of the crystal and depth of the cuts are significant. It's all joined by its original gilt-metal hinged mount with beautifully aged patina.

A striking example of French decorative crystal, perfect as a jewelry or trinket box and exceptionally beautiful displayed on a vanity or collected tabletop.

Material: Crystal and gilt metal

Size: 5.25L x 3.25W x 4.5H" | Weighs ≈ 3.5 lbs

Period: 1880-1920

Condition: Antique condition with age-related wear, patina and surface variation on mounting consistent with its age, once chip on the underside.

Item Code: 1894
